Channel models

vnx channel models lists the 14 shipped models (for example clean, illumina-like, burst-loss). A model describes synthesis, storage, amplification and sequencing stages and is versioned (vnx.channel-model/1). Every model is a software stress model. Public-data fits (D03 in V7, D13 in V8/V9) were tested against pre-registered criteria and found INADEQUATE; see Research. Source: docs/CHANNEL_MODEL.md.
