Benchmark
Public-data nanopore channel model G1 (adequacy test)
Public data
- Result
- INADEQUATE: fails the pre-registered FIT-only pre-check on M6r and M8 (verdict)
- Classification
- Derived from another group's published sequencing data. No DNA was handled by VSNexus.
- Methodology
- FIT-only pre-check against the V8 gating metrics before any DEV look; held-out data stays closed unless a candidate is ADEQUATE.
- Dataset
- Public D13 nanopore reads (Lopez et al. 2019, ONT R9.4 1D²); 266,883 FIT segments.
- Configuration
- Latent-class model, K = 4 chosen by BIC (amendment A2).
- Environment
- Development host: shared VPS, Intel Xeon Gold 6240 @ 2.60 GHz, 4 cores / 8 threads, Ubuntu 24.04, Python 3.12, CPU only.
- Limitations
- A negative result: the model is not used to claim decoder performance on real nanopore data. The held-out set has not been opened.
- Version
- V9
